AutoFind F (Tethis)
autoFIND F coupled to microFIND®, the innovative device developed by Tethis, is an automated slide staining system for the processing of the majority of the steps of the FISH (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization) assays on cytological samples both in interphase and metaphase. autoFIND F provides for the preparation of 1 up to 4 tests/hybridizations on the same slide thanks to the different configurations of the microFIND® device. It is possible to process up to 16 slides with a maximum of 64 tests per batch. The system permits to perform specific protocols depending on the sample used (cytogenetic pellet or non previously fixed cell) and on specific customer needs. autoFIND F improves throughput, consistency and method standardization. A selection of pre-defined protocols makes it possible to customize the pre-treatment, denaturation and hybridization parameters according to specific specimen requirements. Provided with thermostatic plates and heated housings for the vials, the system can carry out the denaturation of the probes (not supplied with the system) and the following hybridization of the sample with no operator involvement. autoFIND F is realized from the liquid handling Freedom EVO® system of Tecan AG, for which Tethis developed a set of ad-hoc accessories to adapt the platform to the characteristics of the microFIND® device.

AutoFind S (Tethis)
The autoFIND S system, coupled to the microFIND® device, is able to perform, the central steps of the FISH (Fluorescent In Situ Hybridization) protocol on biological samples. Provided with thermostatic plate and heated housings for the vials, the system also allows to carry out the denaturation of the appropriate probes (not supplied with the system) and the following hybridization of the sample. autoFIND S is able to process up to 12 slides/test at the same time, dispensing the necessary reagents for the phases of dehydration, digestion and denaturation of the sample, leaving the injection of the cell suspension and of the hybridization probe under the operator’s manual control. Thanks to the microFIND® device, autoFIND S permits to perform the FISH protocol on non-previously fixed cells without pellet preparation. Easy to use, it has compact dimensions in order to optimize the organization of the workplaces. The system requires an operating software installed on a PC provided with the system.

CUT 4062
The SLEE rotary microtome series 4062 is a precision manual modular system suitable for paraffin sections and research, plastic and industrial applications. A universal cassette system and varying accessories make the CUT 4062 simple to operate. The advanced accessory design enables easy specimen changes. Rapid knife change, knife movement and angle adjustment can be carried out and specimen supports can be changed without loss of the basic adjustment.

CUT 6062 -
MAS
The SLEE MAS is a highly efficient linear automated tissue stainer. The MAS combines flexibility with speed and opens new dimensions in the field of automation. It is possible to work with different staining protocols at the same time due to the large number of stations (44). Use of up to 12 baskets (each holding 30 slides), a user-friendly colour LCD screen for precise control and safety features all combine to ensure slide staining efficiency with safety and speed.

MEV
The SLEE MEV is an economic, floorstanding cryostat for use in histology/pathology and research laboratories. The MEV’s ergonomic design and construction takes into consideration ease of handling, hygiene and minimal servicing requirements. The unit comprises interior cooling chamber made of stainless steel, rotary microtome with retraction and motorized coarse advance/return and refrigeration unit and electronic control. The MEV features convenient operation and a modern rotary microtome. The space-saving design has a large stainless steel chamber, an effective freeze bar with 24 positions and a chamber temperature down to -35°C.

The SLEE MMS is an economical, safe, easy-to-use automatic microtome knife sharpener, providing a valuable alternative and addition to SLEE’s new and reconditioned steel and hard-metal (tungsten-carbide) knives. Highly effective due to large glass plate oscillation, selection of sharpening program according to wear condition and safety cut-out when lid is opened, the accessory pack supplied enables immediate use.

MNT
The SLEE MNT is a fully automatic floorstanding cryostat for use in histology/pathology and research laboratories. The ergonomic design and construction of the MNT takes into consideration ease of handling, hygiene and minimal servicing requirements. The unit comprises four components: interior cooling chamber made of stainless steel, rotary microtome, refrigeration unit and electronic controls and an area for freezing specimens. The spacious cabinet is easily accessible with plenty of storage area and a viewing window. The enclosed rotary microtome is connected to an external drive and includes an anti-roll device. The MNT features an electronic control for the chamber temperature, automatic defrost and LED light with a real time clock.

The SLEE MPS/P1 paraffin wax embedding centre is a complete, compact and convenient system for embedding tissue samples. The MPS/P1 system features ease of operation, space-saving and ergonomic design, precise control and easy cleaning. Combining the paraffin dispenser P1 and cooling plate C is a space saving and efficient solution for smaller and medium-sized laboratories and a practical second unit. The combination paraffin dispenser P, preheat unit W and cooling plate C is suitable for larger laboratories (please see MPS/P2 system).
